Interesting facts about me
Guess I am pretty interesting, at least that is what folks tell me anyway.
I was a councellor for ptsd, rape and domestic violence survivors. Note I use the word survivor, because if you made it through you are a survivor not a
victim.
I love anime. Yes that makes me a pretty big geek. Well a big goth geek anyway LMAO.
I write poetry, some pretty warped stuff at times. Life is what you make of it and how you see it, experience it and relate to it.
I keep a
blog at myspace called Amy's Mind, fills in folks on what I really think about.
I have Intracranial Hypertension, a wicked disease that has changed my life in many ways.
I can't spell. I never could not since I was a little kid, English as a language doesn't make any sense to me so even though I'm from the USA I
really speak a language called Brooklynese, yes that is a real word and if you're from Brooklyn you're laughing your ass off right about now. You know
what they say:
You can take the girl out of Brooklyn but you can't take the Brooklyn out of the girl. < very true.
Interesting stuff about me.... hmmm I am a fabric collector ( and that is putting it mildly ) I have an addiction to fabric- don't know why but can never
pass up a deal on fabric. I probably have enough to cover the whole country in an inch thick layer, but still can't pass up a bargain on fabric. Guess
I'll never learn.
